This past September, the Prairie Brass Band, conducted by Mary Gingrich, performed an exciting concert with Charlie and Alison Vernon at the Trueblood Performing Arts Center on their annual concert series. Charlie performed the impressive four movement “Colors for Trombone and Brass Band” by Bert Appermont. Sopranos Alison Vernon and Nancy Pifer premiered Dallas Niermeyer’s arrangement of Yanni’s “Aria,” and the Prairie Irish Dancers joined the band in an exciting performance of Peter Graham’s “Gaelforce.”
